My guy friends often ask me what things they can do to become more stylish. Rather than share my answer to this question I thought I'd defer to one of the most stylish eco-friendly and ethical men I know, Joshua Katcher. Joshua founded The Discerning Brute,

1. Show some sock! When wearing a pair of worker boots tuck
your pants into the sock and boot for a more rugged, outdoors, protected
from the elements look. This tip is great if you're in tick-country or want to rock some style in a Brooklyn
cafe.
2. Unlace. If your style is more relaxed, you should try wearing an unlaced pair of worker boots with relaxed or drop-crotch chinos.
